Local Pumpkin Patches | White Bear Subaru



Nothing says fall like a trip to the pumpkin patches. Whether you are on the hunt for the most perfect pumpkin in the patch or you are looking for one with a little more character, Minnesota local pumpkin patches have every shape and size.

With a number of pumpkin patches located just outside of White Bear Lake, the team at White Bear Subaru has compiled a list of some the top local patches for you to visit this fall.

Pinehaven Farm

Regional host to the nationally recognized Spookley the Square Pumpkin program, Pinehaven farm is proud to help raise awareness for bullying prevention. Visit Pinehaven on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday for the patches special discount days or load up the family and join the fun at the 15th annual Kid’s Halloween Party on October 31st. New this year, this family owned farm will host their first ever Pumpkin Smash Bash on November 1st.   

Afton Apple Orchard

This orchid may have apple in its name, but Afton Apple Orchard has much more to offer. Overlooking the St. Croix Valley, Afton Apple Orchard grows a variety of pumpkins. It has a corn maze, petting zoo and a plethora of baked goods for sale. Pumpkins are available starting September 26th through the end of October.

McDougall’s Apple Junction

Another apple orchard turned pumpkin patch, McDougall’s Apple Junction is home to 6 acres of pumpkin patches filled with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Enjoy the day picking pumpkins with your own wagon or pull an Amish wagon to bring your pumpkins back from the patch. The McDougall’s also have pre-picked pumpkins for with those who might not be able to venture to the patch. Pumpkins are available starting September 26th. Rumor has it, the McDougall’s are saying this is their best crop in years.
